John Bruna, a former Buddhist monk, is an author, educator, mindfulness and Dharma teacher. He is the co-founder of the Mindful Life Program and director of the Way of Compassion Foundation. His personal story is a powerful example of the transformation of the human spirit. Rising from homelessness and addiction, in 1984, at the age of 22, John began his journey of redemption and recovery. As a result of that journey, John has become an inspirational, accessible, authentic teacher and role model for people who want positive change and progress in their life.
